Nollywood actor, director, and filmmaker Funke Akindele has unveiled her new film, The Four: No One Fights Alone.
According to multiple reports, the project will focus on friendship, resilience, and motherhood, sacrifice, and emotional strength. The film centres on Esosa and three fiercely loyal women who unite to fight for the future of a young man they love.
Produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) and to be distributed by FilmOne Entertainment the project features an ensemble cast including Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, singer Waje, and Shoday.
Funke Akindele continues to dominate the Nigerian box office like no other. Ever since her 2019 directorial debut Your Excellency, she has delivered blockbuster after blockbuster—including Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, and A Tribe Called Judah. Her recent December 2025 hit, Behind The Scenes, was the highest-grossing Nollywood film in history. Now, this 2026 she’s gearing up to raise the bar again with her newly announced title, The Four.
Funke Akindele’s blockbuster The Four: No One Fights Alone, is scheduled for a global cinema release on December 11, 2026.
