Alechenu – July 3rd
Alechenu is an upcoming Nollywood drama directed by the award-winning filmmaker Biodun Stephen. The story follows a young boy who goes to Lagos with just a picture and a backpack to find his mother, whom he has never met. The storyline of Alechenu tackles questions of social acceptance, parental relationships, and the consequences of long-hidden secrets.

The Return of Omotara Johnson – July 10
Haunted by her criminal past, Omotara Johnson has built a quiet life around her son. But when her son is accused of murder, old enemies resurface and hidden betrayals explode, Omotara Johnson may have to step into the old life that she left behind.
The film will feature Bukky Wright reprising her role as Omotara Johnson, with a new storyline that explores the consequences of her past actions. The cast includes Richard Mofe-Damijo, Shaffy Bello, Chidi Mokeme, Ali Nuhu, and Toyin Abraham.
Bukky Wright has announced that her movie The Return of Omotara Johnson, which is a sequel to her 2008 originally produced Movie Omotara Johnson, is coming to cinemas Nationwide in July 10th.
King of Thieves 2 ( Agesinkole) – July 24th
The sequel continues the story of Agesinkole, the legendary bandit whose myth influenced the kingdom of Ajeromi. The King of Thieves vows to return if injustice arises again. NJEM: The Journey – July 24th
NJEM: The Journey follows a young hustler whose pursuit of migration as a means of escaping life’s struggles is complicated by a difficult choice that could cost him someone he loves. This tension drives the story, highlighting themes of aspiration, sacrifice, love, and the difficult decisions that often come with personal ambition.
Directed by Uche Chukwu and produced by Abazee Productions in association with Campfire Studios, the film features notable actors such as Rotimi Salami, Chimezie Imo, Tomi Ojo, Tina Mba, Tana Adelana, and Goodness Emmanuel. The distribution of this movie will be handled by Cinemax.
