Kemi Adetiba Begins Production for “King of Boys 3”

Award-winning Filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba that the third installation of the King of Boys Franchise is in the works. The Director confirmed via Instagram that the title is currently in its pre-production stage.

she explains that; “The new KOB submission is ELEVATED in every way you could imagine… And I’m honored to be able to come back to tell this story”. She also tagged the third instalment of the franchise as; King of Boys 3: The Beginning of the End.

The film follows the story of Eniola Salami, a businesswoman and philanthropist, into politics. As she is drawn into a struggle for power her criminal baggage will prove a heavy burden.

The first installment was released in cinemas as a feature in 2018, while the second installment, King of Boys: The Return Of The King was released in 2021 as a 7-part limited series on Netflix. We are unsure at this time which direction the filmmaker will be going with the third instalment but we’ll have our fingers crossed.

The crime drama is expected to head to Netflix, as well as her recent production To Kill a Monkey.
