Biodun Stephen is set to release her latest film, I Am Anis, on 21st March 2025, exclusively on Circuits TV Inspired by real events, the film tells the story of Anisola Williams, whose seemingly perfect life takes an unexpected turn, uncovering long-buried truths. Through this project, Stephen aims to spark conversations around judgment and empathy, using cinema as a platform for change.

More than just a film, I Am Anis carries a strong social message. “This isn’t just a movie. It’s a campaign to #NudgeDontJudge,” Stephen explains. “In a world where battles between toxicity, inferiority, and superiority persist, the girl struggling to find her way needs nudging, not judgment.”

The film stars Shaffy Bello, Tina Mba, Charles Inojie, Toyin Oshinaike, Lina Idoko, Debo Adedayo (Mr Macaroni), Rykardo Agbor, Martha Ehinome, Chimela Nwachukwu, and Karen Spikes.

Written by Mannie Oiseomaye and Biodun Stephen, with Stephen also directing and producing, I Am Anis is set to make its debut via Circuits TV on March 21, 2024., adding another thought-provoking piece to her body of work.
