‘Force Empire’ is produced by Ndy Akan under her production company, Viensa Productions. Known for her debut film, “1929: Women at War,” Ndy continues to address significant social issues through her work. ‘Force Empire’ sheds light on the issue of sexual assault faced by women in the male-dominated police force and the workplace in general.
In a statement, Akan said, “Force Empire is a film about justice. It aims to highlight and encourage the outstanding police officers within the Nigeria Police Force while alsoaddressing the unfortunate actions of a few that have tarnished its reputation. The film reinforces a vital message consistently communicated by the leadership: that every officer; regardless of rank, will face consequences for any criminal behavior.”
‘Force Empire’ will be available cinemas across Nigeria from August 23, 2024.
