The story of Biodun Stephen’s new movie follows the journey of a 13-year-old autistic boy named Alechenu, who travels from his village in Oyo to the Boisterous city of Lagos. A young boy, armed only with a picture and a backpack, sets off to find his mother, whom he has never met. During his journey, he encounters a family, and his presence uncovers hidden secrets that will change their lives forever. The film examines themes that emphasize the protagonist’s emotional development and the dramatic impact of uncovering long-buried truths.
The cast of Alechenu includes Bimbo Ademoye, who plays one of the central figures alongside Mike Ezuruonye, Femi Adebayo, Biodun Stephen, Adeniyi Johnson, Blessing Obasi, Kamo State, and Wumi Toriola.
