Nemsia Studios has released the official trailer for its latest action-packed film, Suky. The trailer, shared February 24, via the studio’s Instagram account, kicks off an 11-day countdown to the movie’s exclusive premiere on Prime Video on March 7.

Suky boasts a lineup of some of Nollywood’s finest talents, featuring James Damilare Solomon in the lead role as Suky. Also starring in the film are Tobi Bakre, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Ademoye, Olarotimi Fakunle, Itele D Icon, and Boma Akpore. Rising child actor Ajibade Abolade portraying the young Suky, while Olakunle Abounce Fawole, Philip Asaya, Williams Benson, and Theodora Omo add to the ensemble.

With a reputation for compelling storytelling and high-quality productions, Nemsia Studios has become a driving force in Nollywood. The studio is behind major hits like Breath of Life, which dominated the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), winning six awards, including Best Movie. Other notable productions from the studio include Soft Love, Before 30, Banana Island Ghost, God Calling, and With Difficulty Comes Ease.

The release of Suky is part of Nemsia Studios’ ongoing partnership with Amazon Prime Video, which began in 2022 with an exclusive multi-film deal aimed at bringing African stories to a global audience.
