Bolanle Ninalowo to star as Oba Agunbiade in “Asiri Ade”

Nollywood filmmaker, Adeoluwa Owu has teased the release his next project, Asiri Ade. The Adire director had a private screening for the picture on Monday, February 12th for its cast, crew as well as industry professionals.

“Asiri Ade”, produced by Barbara Babarinsa-Hassan unfolds a compelling narrative of politics, love, and intrigue, as two kingdoms consider a royal union for different motives. With elements of hidden romance, a lurking killer, and a power struggle, the film encompasses a blend of epic, romance, and thriller genres. The production quality, authentic storytelling, impeccable character delivery, and masterful postproduction underscore Adeoluwa Owu’s genius extraordinary filmmaking skills.

The upcoming project, set in 2006, revolves around the intricate web of politics, unionism, cultism, rape and power dynamics within the confines of a Nigerian academic institution.

The epic film will star Gabriel Afolayan, Omowumi Dada, Ibrahim Yekini, Akin Lewis, BBNaija alumnus Groovy, Mustapha Sholagbade, Alex Ekubo, Tobi Makinde, Tony Umez, Akin Lewis, Elvina Ibru, Ariyiike Dimples, Gbubemie Jeye, Tomi Ojo, Vine Olugu and Kalu Ikeagwu.
