Nollywood enthusiasts are in for a thought-provoking cinematic experience as Red Line, directed by the renowned Teco Benson, makes its nationwide debut on March 14, 2025. The film promises to delve into the complexities of power, corruption, and the pursuit of justice within the Nigerian university system.

Produced by Eno Udo and distributed by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, Red Line brings together some of Nollywood’s finest talents. Adunni Ade takes on the role of a courageous student who levels a shocking accusation of sexual harassment against Professor Obaseki, portrayed by the legendary Sam Dede. This revelation sparks a ripple effect, exposing cases of institutional corruption and abuse.

Shaffy Bello steps into the role of Dr. Adeleke, a fearless women’s rights activist and head of department determined to uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable. Alongside this powerhouse trio, the ensemble cast includes seasoned actors such as Nobert Young and Tony Akposheri.

According to producer Eno Udo, Red Line was inspired by real-life challenges and societal issues within higher institutions. “A lot of societal problems can be traced back to these institutions. Through our research, we uncovered stories that demanded to be told,” Udo shared.

Red Line promises not only to entertain but also to spark critical conversations about abuse of power, the pursuit of justice, and the need for accountability.
