The Film Kilanko: The Invisible Child, produced by Rotimi Salami and directed by Allwell Ademola before her passing in December 2025, will be arriving in cinemas this March.
The Film; Kilanko is a collaboration between Rotimi Salami and Allwell Ademola and is being presented as Ademola’s final directional work and film. It is framed to become a significant part of her artistic, creative Legacy.
The full cast list of this movie project has not been publicly released, but from the trailer of the movie, one should expect old Nollywood veterans and a few modern movie actors to tell the story behind the title truly. A few of the actors include Rotimi Salami, Allwell Ademola, Ibrahim Chatta, Olarotimi Fakunle, Tina Mba, Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin, famously known as The Cute Abiola, Bimbo Manuel, Saidi Balogun, Bakare Zainab and many others.
Kilanko: The Invisible Child has been described by Cinemax as an epic tale unlike anything ever witnessed before, where the pain is hidden, Sacrifice is sacred, and mothers become deities.
Thes film will premiere on March 1, 2026, followed by its general cinema release on March 6 through Cinemax distribution.
