Almost Perfect – April 1
Directed by Imoh Umoren, Almost Perfect is described as “a love story stitched in secrets, dreams, and desire.” The film unfolds in the world of fashion and self-discovery, promising a visually rich narrative that centres on emotional depth.
The ensemble cast includes heavyweights such as Kate Henshaw, Toke Makinwa, Detola Jones, Bimbo Manuel, Obinna Okenwa, Omowunmi Dada, Eso Dike, Real Warri Pikin, and Liquorose.

Behind The Scenes – April 3
Behind the Scenes is a Funke Akindele blockbuster about ambition, relationships, and resilience. This record-breaking hit follows Aderonke Faniran, a successful real estate mogul whose generosity drains her emotionally and personally.
Starring Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, Tobi Bakre, Ini Dima-Okojie, Uzor Arukwe, and Destiny Etiko, Behind the Scenes is produced by Funke Ayotunde Akindele Network (FAAN).
The Film will premiere on Netflix and Kava on April 3, 2026.
Avante – April 3
This Vengeance-packed thriller follows Gaju, a man who infiltrates his parents’ killer’s estate for revenge but falls for the daughter. In Avante, movie lovers can expect themes of vengeance, forbidden love, and moral conflict.
Starring Chimezie Imo, Kingsley Okafor, Ruth Nkweti, Maliya Michael, and Joseph James. The Nollywood thriller Avante was produced by Afrisquare Entertainment and directed by award-winning filmmaker Toka McBaror. The film will be released in cinemas nationwide on April 3, 2026.
The Return of Arinzo – April 3
The Return of Arinzo is an Action Crime thriller where a feared woman resurfaces after years, stirring secrets and revenge. Her sudden returns disrupt the lives of those around her, as she seeks answers about past betrayals and confronts unresolved conflicts, leading to a dramatic quest for vengeance and justice.
Starring Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Uzor Arukwe, Williams Benson, Bimbo Akintola, and Iyabo Ojo.
Produced by FESPRIS Production, the return of Arinzo will be available in cinemas nationwide from April 3, 2026.
Trade by Bata – April 17
This is a witty cultural Comedy directed by Biodun Stephen. Trade by Bata centres on a Nigerian American young woman who returns to her village to claim her father’s Inheritance but faces a series of events that alter her journey.
The film features a stellar cast, including Bukunmi Adeaga-IIori, Debo Adebayo, Adebimpe Akintunde, and Dele Odule.
Trade by Bata is coming to cinema’s Nationwide this April 17, 2026.
The Other Side of the Bridge – April 17
The film is an action-packed sports drama produced by Tolu Lordtanner. The narrative follows a former teenage boxing champion who enters a high-stakes competition to save his trainer’s gym. He faces a cash-strapped fighter from a troubled background, sparking up a rivalry that forces them to confront their past and fight for their futures.
The Other Side of a Bridge features Mike Afolarin, Seun Ajayi, Teniola Aladese, Tobi Bakre, Ireti Doyle, and Femi Branch.
This movie is scheduled for a nationwide cinema release on April 17, 2026.
A Spark in the Dark – April 24
The Nollywood romance drama A Spark in the Dark follows the Narrative of a couple’s seemingly perfect life that is suddenly shaken by tragedy, forcing them to confront love, loss, and resilience. It is a story about how dreams and relationships are tested when unexpected storms arrive.
Starring Blossom Chukwujekwu, Gideon Okeke, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Tope Olowoniyan, and Venita Akpofure.
Directed by Akay Mason, A Spark in the Dark is prepared for a nationwide cinema release on April 24, 2026.
