Unclaimed: See The Trailer For Biodun Stephen’s New Thriller

The trailer for Unclaimed, a new Nollywood feature directed by Biodun Stephen, has been officially released ahead of the film’s scheduled cinema debut on 20 June.

Presented by The Hook, The Hook Entertainment, FilmTrybe and FilmOne NG, the film features a cast that includes Kunle Remi, Elma Mbadiwe, Timini Egbuson, Teniola Aladese, Jayeola Monje, Omowunmi Dada, Michael Ojoor and King Cregx. It is produced by Ofeyifunmi.

According to early production notes and the trailer, Unclaimed tells the story of Dieko, a young woman navigating her career while serving as a caregiver for her physically challenged grandmother. Dieko’s life takes a sharp turn when she finds herself falsely accused of a serious crime. As she battles public shame and a justice system determined to break her, the film follows her journey toward reclaiming her name and freedom.

Biodun Stephen, known for emotionally grounded stories with social relevance, directs this drama that explores themes of identity, false accusation, public judgement and survival.
