Tòkunbọ̀, a new movie directed by Ramsey Nouah, is set to premiere on Netflix. Tokunbo centers on the intense journey of an ex-car smuggler who must race against time to save a kidnapped girl.
The narrative delves into critical issues in Nigeria, such as kidnapping, political corruption, and the fight for survival, presenting a gritty portrayal of the nation’s darker side.
The cast features some top Nigerian talents including Gideon Okeke, Chidi Mokeme, Funlola Aofiyebi–Raimi, Nobert Young, Majid Michel, Adunni Ade, Ivie Okujaye, Tosin Adeyemi, Stanley ‘funnybone’ Chibunna, Darasimi Nadi and Aaron Sunday.
Tòkunbọ̀, marks Ramsey Nouah’s third directorial release, it’s an original story by Story Story Hub and is produced by Ramsey Films and Sozo Films.
