Nemsia Studios has released the official trailer for Thicker Than Water, its upcoming thriller that debuts on Prime Video on 10 October 2025. The film drops with the tagline: “Sometimes, the people we’re searching for are the ones who leave behind the most haunting secrets. How far would you go to find the ones you love?”
The cast features Adaobi Dibor and Bimbo Ademoye in lead roles, alongside Taye Arimoro, Damilola Ogunsi, Toyosi Benjamin, Mawuyon Ogun, Pamilerin Ayodeji, Diana Egwuatu, Jemima Adelekan, and Chikere Bright. The trailer teases a suspenseful narrative layered with family secrets, emotional conflict, and moral ambiguity. Viewers catch glimpses of intense scenes, looming shadows and cryptic messages. All of which suggests a journey through the past and the present. There are also hints of a supernatural plot twist, which makes it even more intriguing.
With Thicker Than Water, Nemsia expands a growing slate of Prime Video releases. Earlier this year, the studio premiered The Fire and the Moth (June 2025), a crime thriller that follows Saba, a smuggler ensnared by dangerous forces after stealing an Ife bronze head. The film blended crime, cultural stakes, betrayal, and suspense for a global audience.
In May 2025, Nemsia launched After 30, a sequel to its acclaimed 2015 series Before 30. The film resonated strongly with audiences, earning praise for its emotional depth and continuity with beloved characters.
