Fespris Production is back with The Return of Arinzo, sequel to the 2021 Yoruba classic Arinzo, a sequel led and produced by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
Written by Moshood Yakubu Olawale, the movie expands the world of Arinzo on a much larger international scale, with production spanning multiple African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania. This highlights Nollywood’s growing presence on both the African and global stages.
Arinzo tells the story of two sisters whose lives take completely different paths, ultimately leading to an inevitable conflict between them. Following the events of the End of Arinzo, everyone believed she was dead. Now that Arinzo has returned, the question remains: is she back seeking vengeance, or is she searching for answers?
The project highlights several notable individuals, including Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, as well as Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang. It also features Tanzanian actors Nana Dollz, Patrick Kanumba, Prisca Lyimo, and Zuhura Othman. Additionally, the impressive ensemble cast includes Nollywood actors Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Akintola, Yinka Quadri, and Lalude.
The Return of Arinzo will be distributed by FilmOne to cinemas nationwide on April 3, 2026. It will first premiere on March 29, 2026, at Balmoral Hall in Victoria Island, Lagos.
