Beyond The Veil – June 7

Nadine Ibrahim and Sifa Asani Gowon Beyond The Veil, follows. a group of five northern Nigerian women as they navigate the ups and downs of modern life, which includes careers, friendships, romances and often cultures clashes. The cast features Jemima Osunde, Maryam Booth, Norah Ego, Ummi Baba Ahmed, Ame Aiyejina, Norbert Young, Habiba Zock-Sock, Yakubu Mohammed, Rikadawa Rabiu, and Caleb Richard.

Season 2 heads to Prime Video on June 7.

Deafening Silence – June 7

An unemployed graduate, finds herself in trouble after intervening in a scuffle between her neighbor, Madam Agnes and her ward, an adolescent girl. Directed by Biodun Stephen, produced by Emem Isong and written by Tani Taylaur.

The film stars Toni Tones, Kate Henshaw, Bimbo Akintola, Daniel Etim Effiong and Debby Felix.

Deafening Silence, coming to cinemas from June 7th.

Muri and Ko – June 12

A small-time thief, inadvertently steals a car with an 8-year-old boy, Cole, in the backseat, a celebrity’s son. His quest to sell the car but keep Cole safe leads to a series of comical misadventures, forging an unlikely friendship between the two.

Starring Kunle Remi, Bisola Aiyeola and Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie),Femi Jacobs, Buchi Franklin, Charles Okocha, Gloria Anozie-Young, and Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga 

Muri and Ko will premiere in cinemas on June 12, 2024

Offshoot – June 14

Offshoot tells the story of Modesire Mbakwe, a 40-year-old newly appointed Director, Operations and General Investigation of the Nigerian Drugs Agency (NDA), as she goes on a full-fledged war against a drug cartel that reveals a family secret which changes her life forever.

The film stars; Kehinde Bankole, Kelechi Udegbe, Ibrahim Suleiman, Gregory Ojefua, Bimbo Manuel and David Jones David.

Coming to cinemas, June 14, 2024.

Higher Crime – June 14

A prominent blogger who brings to light the chilling truth of a woman’s sexual assault, igniting a fierce legal battle with a prominent philanthropist 

The film features a vibrant ensemble cast, blending industry heavyweights like Femi Branch, Bimbo Akintola, and Keppy Ekpenyong, Enwongoabasi Ibom and Folashade Abimbola

Coming to Cinemas on June 14.

Lakatabu – June 21

Odunlade Adelola’s Lakatabu will be released this month. The film stars Adedimeji Lateef, Adunni Ade, Yomi Fash Lanso, Femi Adebayo amongst others.

Oloture – June 28

The story continues from the first installment as a limited series. Oloture (Sharoon Ooja) crosses the Benin border, and goes on what has been described as a perilous journey into Niger, Libya, and then to the Mediterranean. Directed by Kenneth Gyang, other cast members include Omoni Oboli, Stan Nze, Amara Onoh, Bukola Abiola Oladipupo, Ikechukwu Onunaku, Daniel Etim Effiong Patrick Doyle, Segun Arinze, Bucci Franklin, Efe Iwara, and Adebukola Oladipupo.

Streaming on Netflix from June 28.
