The company, led by Mo Abudu, has acquired a prime property on Wandsworth Road, a location that places it minutes from the West End and near the new American Embassy. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2025, EbonyLife Place London will serve as a vibrant center for African storytelling, offering platforms for film, theatre, music, art, fashion, and cuisine. At the core of this initiative is EbonyLife Cinemas London, a 180-seater theatre dedicated to showcasing African films, particularly Nollywood productions. This will be the first African cinema of its kind in the city, creating a dedicated space for African filmmakers to reach international audiences.

Beyond cinema, the hub will introduce Turaka London, a dining experience that brings Nigerian cuisine to the capital. Art exhibitions will provide a platform for African artists to present their work, while a curated retail space will showcase the continent’s leading fashion brands. Theatre productions, concerts for emerging artists, and creative workshops will further solidify the venue’s role in amplifying African talent.
