“House of Ga’a”: New Yoruba Epic Gets Netflix Release Date

Netflix has announced the official release date for House of Ga’a.

The film is Directed by Bolanale-Austen, the brilliant mind behind critically acclaimed movies like Funmilayo-Ransome Kuti, Man of God93 Days, Bling Lagosians, and Collision Course.

House of Ga’a is a biopic on the rise and fall of a ruthless kingmaker- Bashorun Gaa of the 18th century Oyo empire, who wielded deceit and voodoo to reign, only to be undone by his blood.

Starring Femi Branch, Mike Afolarin, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Ibrahim Chatta, Dele Odule, Bimbo Manuel, Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Adebayo, Gabriel Afolayan, Jide ‘JBlaze’ Oyegbile, Seun Akindele, ⁠Yemi Blaq, Adeniyi Johnson, Muyiwa Ademola, Willam Benson, Gbenga Titiloye, and Kunle Coker.

House of Gaa, is set to premiere on July 26, 2024 as a Netflix original.
