Nemsia Studios’ latest feature, Finding Nina, brings a fresh take to the rarely explored Northern Nigerian love drama. Following the recent release of its official trailer and premiere date, audiences can expect a compelling journey of love, memory, and rediscovery.
The story begins with JB, played by Jammal Ibrahim—a world-renowned photographer—who sets out in search of a long-lost love. But while he searches, it becomes clear he’s also left behind someone who isn’t ready to let go. As he navigates emotional and physical challenges, JB finally encounters Nadia and tries to rekindle their past connection. However, little did he know that this journey would lead him to discover more about himself.
Directed by Famous Odion Iraoyo and produced by Hirse Peace Dalaham, Finding Nadia unfolds against the rich cultural backdrop of Northern Nigeria. The film introduces a mix of emerging and familiar faces in Nollywood. This includes Tomi Ojo, Paul Sambo, Ijapari Ben-Hiriki, Mbasiti Jesse, Augustine Gilbert, Nadia Dutch, Vine Olugu, and Rabi’u Rikadawa.
A key area the trailer hints at is the bust of shots that well capture the beauty of the Northern part of Nigeria. Which has always been a rare but exquisite burst location choice in Nollywood.
