Natives Filmworks and MichaelAngelo Productions have announced Colour True Me as the 10th title in the First Features Slate Initiative.
Written and Directed by Toluwani Osibe, Colour True Me tells a gripping story on identity, in a world that often celebrates image more than truth.
Starring Shalewa Ashafa as Sylvia Philips, we are taken into her world as a beauty queen and celebrity. Whose picture-perfect life goes tumbling when the truth about her past comes out. And now she must face the consequences as she seeks refuge in the same past she thought was completely buried.
Alongside Ashafa, the feature stars Bucci Franklin whose character hints at a more subtle and emotion driven persona, as opposed to what we have seen him in before.
Other cast members include Eseosa Bernard, Nnamdi Agbo, Gerard Adebija, Amara Uwechi, Chimdiya Nwigwe, Alison Adeeyinwo and Stanley Ebuka.
The feature is said to have been filmed in Abuja and wrapped up production in July 2025.
Colour True Me will start streaming on Prime Video on the 4th of December 2025.
The First Features initiative is down to 2 more expected releases as it slowly closes up its 12 feature slate. And so far as continued to deliver fresh and intriguing stories.
