
Bluhouse Studios has released the official trailer for Call of My Life, a Nollywood Modern romantic comedy directed by Dammy Twitch in his feature debut.
The theme ” What if the love you have been waiting for is just a call away follows the story of Soluchi, a call centre agent who is still healing from the disappointment and heartbreak after being abandoned by her ex. During a routine customer call, she unexpectedly connects with Eli, a charming stranger. With his presence in her life, Soluchi begins to change her perspective on love.
Call of My Life was produced by Blessing Uzzi for Bluehouse Studios, with a screenplay written by Uzoamaka Power and directed by Dammy Twitch. Known for directing commercials and music videos, Dammy Twitch also directed the 2023 short film I Hate It Here. In making Call of My Life, he aimed for his first feature film to reflect his heart, which is rooted in love and happiness.
Call of My life marks Bluhouse Studios’ second theatrical production since Freedom Way, their debut last year.
The movie had its shooting location in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu, and also featured live performances from Nigerian music stars Jonny Drille and Cobhams Asuquo, adding a musical layer to the romantic storytelling.
The cast highlights include Zubby Michael, Nkem Owoh, Uzoamaka Power, Andrew Bunting, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, and Samuel Animashaun Perry, popularly called Broda Shaggi.
