Amina (2021)
Amina is a pre-colonial African leadership movie directed by Izu Ojukwu and based on the 16th century Zazzau Queen warrior. This historical epic tells the story of a fearless leader who rose to power and led armies to expand her kingdom, challenging cultural norms that have excluded women from being warriors.
The Movie presented a rare depiction of pre-colonial African female leadership. Amina refused to back down from challenges, embodying resilience and strength even when faced with resistance from her own people.

The cast used to tell the story of Funmilayo Ransome Kuti includes Kehinde Bankole, Joke Silva, Iyimide Ayo-Olumoko, Ibrahim Suleiman, and others. Fierce, visionary, and unstoppable, Funmilayo’s story is a reminder that women don’t just break barriers; they rewrite history.

Breaded Life (2021)
A Breaded Life is a comedy-drama directed by Biodun Stephen. The film follows a privileged young man who mysteriously wakes up in an alternative reality where no one remembers him and where he is no longer rich. While the story centers on his transformation, the film introduces a hardworking bread seller whose resilience, compassion, and determination shape the narrative.
Through humour and commentary, the film celebrates everyday women whose strength lies in perseverance and kindness.

The film highlights the duality of women’s reality in such situations, revealing their vulnerability to exploitation while also showcasing the resilience and strength they summon in their struggle for survival.

Blood Sisters (2022)
